March 30, 2008:

The new price of a Shanghai License Plate [or Shanghai car plate] has increased to average RMB 3,2169 according to a Shanghai monthly license plate auction, March 29, 2008.  A number plates in Shanghai is still cost more than a small car in China. 2008 olympic games with car rental in beijing? And Blue Sky?

The procedure of get your Chinese drivers license in Shanghai

                           — Convert your foreign drivers license to Chinese Drivers License

1.  Get your foreign drivers license translation done at the appropriate agency and it would be kept in the sealed envelope. [Shang Car would visit you and pick up your driver’s license to get it translated in advance]

2. Arrange a Health Check time to Local Road Authority in Qing Chun Rd., Xinzhuang. [Shang Car’s staff will company you to have a Health check there] It’s about 10 Minutes for the test. Since the health forms are all in Chinese, we help to fill out.

3. Get an Examination Question Bank at the counter and they will give you the examination date. It’s about highway code test guidance.  will give you the examination date

 4. Take the exam: Be there on time at the appointed date, take your examination there. Once passing your test, you spend a few minutes getting processed, and get your Chinese drivers license the same day.

2008 F1 GRAND PRIX Shanghai: How to reach there?

The 2008 F1 GRAND PRIX will be Oct. 17- Oct. 19, 2008.  Some clients asked Shang Car rental about how to get to F1 Grand Prix site Shanghai. 

It has very Good Road infrustructure from Downtown Shanghai(or Pudong Internation airport to F1 site Shanghai) The Grand Prix in Shanghai well demostrated the express way network Shanghai has built. It is just besides the A30 Express Way and many other express roads lead to the circuit. It is a little bit far from the downtown, about 1 hour by car. After you choose and use our car rental service, we could drive our car to your place to manage to the F1 site on time.

A new passenger terminal (T2) at Shanghai Pudong Airport

Timing:

The Terminal 2 (T2) building of Shanghai Pudong International Airport will start operation on March 26th, 2008.

Schedule of Airlines relocation

From 26th March, the following airlines will operate from Terminal 2:

- Air India (AI)

From 29th April, the following airlines will operate from Terminal 2:

- Air Canada (AC)

Ground Transportation between T1 and T2

 Airport Shuttle Bus will be available for the convenience of transfer passengers among T1 and T2. Free Shuttle bus service provided every 15 mintues between 6:00 am to 9:00 pm.

For those who use Shang Car rental service for airport pickup or drop off, please let us know in advance for whether you will depart/arrival at T1 or T2.

Tip your driver from Shangcar?

Although we request our drivers don’t take any tip from our clients. Some of our clients still tip our drivers. We would suggest that if you are very happy with the entire services that our driver provided. We suggest that you could write the driver a reference[both email or letter would be fine.
