The new price of a Shanghai License Plate [or Shanghai car plate] has increased to average RMB 3,2169 according to a Shanghai monthly license plate auction, March 29, 2008.  A number plates in Shanghai is still cost more than a small car in China. It’s sad see that price is still stick at this high point while the traffic of Shanghai became worse. As for trying to find a used car in Shanghai, please check our latest inventory of used cars: http://www.shangcar.com/used_car_shanghai.htm .
